The Sheltair Group

The Sheltair Group is an award-winning Vancouver based consultancy specializing in sustainable community and energy planning, stakeholder engagement, infrastructure costing and lifecycle analysis, and environmental management.

Sheltair's 100-year Sustainability plan for the Greater Vancouver Region won the pretigious International Urban Systems Design Competition in 2004. As a result, Sheltair was awarded the contract to lead the second phase of the Sustainable Urban Systems Design initiative.

Bridging To The Future is the on-going realization of this second phase. Cielo Systems proposed, designed and implemented the Bridging To The Future website as a vehicle for the participating international teams to collaborate and share their work in progress as they work to implement 30 year energy plans for their local regions.
