Save Energy Now required a website to help realize their goal of connecting homeowners, building owners, landlords, and managers of commercial buildings with financial incentives and technical information to improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings. Their 12-month pilot program, dubbed 'Energy Savings Plan', is expected to realize 60,000 Gigajoules of energy savings in participating communities throughout BC.
Building on work which we had done earlier for the Sustainable Building Centre, Cielo Systems was able to build a portal for Save Energy Now enabling their on-line users to easily search through a database of available incentives to find programs offered in their communities and relevant to their situation, be they homeowners, commercial property managers, weekend renovators, or professional builders - in under a week!
