Bridging To The Future is the on-going realization of the second phase of the Sustainable Urban Systems Design initiative. Cielo Systems proposed, designed and implemented for the Sheltair Group the Bridging To The Future website as a vehicle for the participating international teams to collaborate and share their work in progress as they work to implement 30 year energy plans for their local regions.

Save Energy Now required a website to help realize their goal of connecting homeowners, building owners, landlords, and managers of commercial buildings with financial incentives and technical information to improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings. Their 12-month pilot program, dubbed 'Energy Savings Plan', is expected to realize 60,000 Gigajoules of energy savings in participating communities throughout BC.

This site was created for The Sheltair Group to catalyze and support shared plannning activities of community planners in participating cities around the world. The focus is exploring alternatives to arrive at 30-year urban-scale integrated multi-sectoral energy plans. These plans are to find ways to use Natural Gas as a 'bridging' fuel to help make the transition from Fossil Fuel based energy systems to Renewable resource based energy systems.

Small companies are responsible for a large majority of scientific or technical innovations. The value of this role is recognized in many ways by governments, investors, and industry organizations. Unfortunately, many small businesses experience find it difficult to access the information, resources, and even investment dollars and government incentives that are designed to foster their support of innovation.
