Djun Kim invited to join board of KMC

Cielo Systems' director Djun Kim was elected to the board of directors of the Knowledge Management Community of Practice at the AGM, held September 14, 2006. He joins Martin Bliemel, Karen Buchamer, Betsy Chan, Jessica Dill and Catherine Kerr to serve a one year term.

Save Energy Now portal launched

Save Energy Now, a portal for the Energy Saving Plan, a BC-wide building energy efficiency enhancement pilot project, launched on March 31, 2006. The web site will help to connect home owners, landlords, builders and commercial building managers throughout the province of British Columbia to information and incentives which will help them to make their existing buildings more energy efficient. The pilot project aims to effect energy savings of 60,000 Gigajoules over the course of a year.

Sustainable Building Centre selects Cielo to implement their Web 2.0 strategies

The Sustainable Building Centre (SBC) is a newly formed non-profit organization serving as British Columbia's hub for everything to do with sustainable building. SBC provides a one-stop point of service for professionals and the general public on all aspects of sustainable design, construction, and operation for all building sectors.

New Cielo website

Jan, 2006 Cielo Systems has been working for several years with (and on) Drupal, an open-source community-based content management system. We've built a number of web-based projects on Drupal, as well as contributing to the development of Drupal itself by contributing code, participating in core development, and writing/editing documentation.

We've finally decided that it's time to eat our own dogfood and upgrade our own website to a Drupal based design.
