ATIRA, a local non-profit community-based organization supporting women, was recently nominated in VanCity's $1 million VanCity Award. Cielo Systems has been working with ATIRA to assist in the conception and development of new web strategies supporting ATIRA's community activities.

Oct, 2005 The University of Lethbridge was awarded $1.3 million dollars from the Alberta government, to fund the innovative Alberta Terrestrial Imaging Center. The center, developed in partnership with Iunctus Geomatics Corp will develop and commercialize technolgies and conduct research programmes centered around the unique high-resolution optical remote sensing capabilities of the SPOT constellation of satellites.
